Emma Sundvik is a promising young international jazz artist.
Inspired by old-school greats such as Chet Baker and Ella Fitzgerald, she takes you back in time with her smooth vocals, melodic scatting, and warm trumpet tone. Emma graduated from the prestigious Berklee College of Music, studying voice and trumpet in the Performance Major. While attending Berklee, she received the Outstanding Jazz Vocalist Award, Berklee Achievement Grant, and Voice Department Achievement Award for her successes.
She received three Downbeat awards for vocal jazz groups she's been in—Berklee's Advanced Vocal Jazz Choir and Point of Departure (Berklee's student-run vocal jazz group). Point of Departure recently finished recording their second album which is set to be released later this year.
So far in her career, Emma has worked with jazz greats Kurt Elling, Sheila Jordan, Peter Eldridge, Janis Siegel, and Lauren Kinhan. She has performed at private and public venues around the globe such as Jazz at Lincoln Center (NYC), La Ribera Jazz (Bilbao), Cafe Mercedes Jazz (Valencia) and The Lillypad (Boston).
She was selected to be featured in Janis Siegel and Lauren Kinhan's "Vocal Mania" where she performed alongside the two at the famous NYC Zinc Bar, and they premiered the video for her song "A Prayer" on their virtual show "Vocal Gumbo". Emma is a member of the vocal group "Univoz" and actively records and releases videos with her group "Time Out Vocal Jazz".
Emma is currently based in Boston, MA and frequently performs around New England with Dan Gabel and the Abletones.

Emma is currently working as Temporary Website Coordinator for the Harvard University Graduate School of Arts and Sciences. She also works as a video editor and content creator for Janis Seigel and Lauren Kinhan’s virtual show Vocal Gumbo. Additionally, she is a freelance artist, website designer, video editor, and content creator. Previously, she worked as Domestic Contract Manager at the Kurland Agency and interned with Morningside Music Studio and Persistent Management. She has worked within videography, photography, social media marketing, and advertising for her internship roles.
